Training of referees in Sweden is overseen by the SRF and Educators and Trainers trained by World Rugby with licences for 3 year to deliver World Rugby Courses in Sweden. There are also online courses that can be done on the World Rugby Passport website (see link on the menu)
Bi weekly referee training occurs every other Wednesday at 1900. The events can be found on the SRDF Facebook page (link in the menu)

Courses on offer from Swedish Educators and Trainers:
- World Rugby – Rugby Ready – half day
- World Rugby Level 1 Match Officials (15s and 7s) – one day
- World Rugby Level 2 Match Officials (15s and 7s) – two days, plus a season long assessment
- World Rugby Level 1 Coach of Match Officials – one day plus assessment
For courses delivered by World Rugby outside this list Rugby Europe is the organiser and course attendees are recommended by the SRF.
Training outside the World Rugby list of courses (some are soon to be included)
- Assistant Referee training – half a day
- Continuous Development Workshops – varying from half a day to a weekend
